5 out of 5 stars Looks good, works well.   September 6, 2010
Grover Madhatter (Seattle, WA USA)
Boils water faster than a kettle on the stove. More efficient use of energy too, since a greater percentage of the heat goes into the water. Goes on and off the base very easy, never have a problem with the connection. The on/off switch seems a little fragile, but it's still intact. I use it daily for morning tea.

5 out of 5 stars Love it!!!   September 4, 2010

Seemed to have lots of good reviews and we liked the way it looked. We have used it every day and it is very fast and it is everything we had hoped it would be. Very pleased!

3 out of 5 stars It heats up water, but is noisy and VERY hot on the outside.   September 3, 2010
Jason Visser (Los Angeles, CA)
As a kettle, it heats up water quickly and stays clean, which are both great things to have. Sadly, in our one bedroom apartment (kitchen is in the same room as the "living" space), the noise generated while heating water usually means we have to pause whatever we are watching and it is difficult to hold a conversation without yelling. It's not terrible or anything, but just louder than expected. Also, the all metal construction of the container area looks great and stays clean, but definitely is not "safe" to touch and you have to be careful with it, as it gets extremely hot when boiling water.

Still it functions well as a kettle. Good switch, turns off automatically after boiling, nice measure down the side, solid lid, pours well.

5 out of 5 stars GREAT Thing   September 2, 2010
Lily (Oregon, USA)
I had a plastic one, and I brought it to my office. I bought this for my home, and I love it. It is a little bit more expensive than my old one, but it works great, looks great. I just love it. If you are considering an electrical kettle, it is the one you should choose.

5 out of 5 stars great kettle   August 31, 2010

the metal is shiny. works very well. It needs 20s to auto-off after water begins to boil.

The handle will not get too hot after the water is boiled, which is not the case for my last kettle.
