Will Break - Not good value March 9, 2010 M. scher (miami, fl) For the price and the fast heating, it seemed good but ours broke in less than a year. We used it moderately, just the two of us, so it should have lasted better. Some of the other reviews say the same thing- it is made cheaply and breaks -- a trap for consumers, be warned.
Perfect solution, done right March 9, 2010 Robert C. Ryniak (Pennsylvania) I reviewed this once alreay, kind of... think I forgot to hit "publish", so I'm doing it again... anyhoo... I was hoping it would work as well as expected, and it totally does. One of the nice things is that it won't overboil your water if you have to walk away for a while... it shuts off when it's done heating it up, instead of whistling, which is a nice safety feature when you have little kids distracting you!! Best of all, I can make tea in my office area, rather than going downstairs to the kitchen to make it, so there's less interruption. It's simple, good price, and works quite well... VERY happy :)
So far, so good March 8, 2010 Kathleen Wayman I have had this product for about 6 weeks and it seems to perform well. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I have reservations about the flimsy little tab that you press to turn it on. Just wondering if it will stand the test of time. The tab for on/off seems like an odd choice of design for the product instead of a regular on/off button.
hard to see water indicator March 8, 2010 Susan (TX) Great kettle! The only problem is that the water indicator is located in the attached part (bracket) of the handle which makes it more difficult to see.
Wonderful electric tea kettle March 7, 2010 travelgirl I love this kettle. It is super fast, the water tastes better than heating it in the microwave (although this could be my imagination), and it is attractive enough to sit out on my countertop. I consider it to be one of the best things I've purchased in a long, long time.
